GBF will be providing a Free Pig Roast at the Gorrie Ball Park. Donations will be accepted for the Howick Township Fire Department and the Heather Pham Trust Fund. The meal will include pork, stuffing, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, Caesar salad, and homemade pie. There will be enough food to feed about 1000 people.
This year's BBQ will include demonstrations by the Howick Township Fire Department as well as an OPP Canine Unit. Phil Main of CKNX will be performing during the meal.
Plans are being made to go to the Walter's Dinner Theatre in Bright on Friday, September 17th to see "Amish Vows in Paradise".

This Saturday, from 8:30AM to 12:00PM at GBF, there will be an orientation meeting for this year's Salt & Light leaders, with a light breakfast provided. We will be going over the particulars of the club, and a guest speaker will be talkign about gospel ministry. There will also be a time of prayer and fellowship.
There will be a Family BBQ at GBF on Wednesday, September 22nd at 6:30PM to register for this year's Salt & Light club.
Starting Monday, September 27th at 7:00PM, we will be having a 10-week study of Esther: It's Tough Being a Woman with Beth Moore. Please sign the sheet at the Information Center if you will be attending this fall. The cost of the study book will be $18.
