Our Worship Gatherings

10:30AM - Morning Worship Gathering

Our Morning Worship Gathering begins with a time of worship that includes a blend of old and new Christian songs. We often have a special feature that highlights someone or something within the church family. Often, this Worship Gathering is a time to share Communion together. Afterward, Sunday School is provided for children up to the eighth grade. For the adults, there is practical instruction from the Bible intended to enlarge our understanding of God and move us to fulfill His purposes in the world.

6:30PM - Evening Worship Gathering 

Our Sunday evening service takes on many forms including teaching seminars, times of worship, Communion, outdoor service, prayer, missionary reports, etc. This service is an informal time where the highlight is being together as a church family.

Nursery

The GBF Nursery is a frontline ministry of paramount importance - one of the first ministries a visiting or new family encounters. We humbly endeavor for the GBF Nursery to be a positive, happy first church experience for wee ones as we show the love of Jesus through interactive play, stories, songs and simple Bible verses. We in the GBF Nursery take the privilege of the care of your children as a trust. We count it a priviledge to serve your family, create a comforting transition for young children, and voluntarily offer police background checks and undergo Plan to Protect training to ensure the complete safekeeping of all children in our attentive care.

Our services are offered every Sunday, for babies up to 24 months:

  • Nursery care available for both Morning & Evening Worship Gatherings
  • Nursery provided with interactive toys and books; an infant and preschooler-friendly curriculum of songs, short stories and engaging play 
  • At least two workers present for both services
  • Nursery Supervisor: Ann Voskamp

Sunday School 

Your children are invited to attend our Sunday School each Sunday morning from 11:00-11:45AM. During the Sunday School program, parents are invited to sit in and listen to the teaching, or they can join the rest of the adults upstairs. In Sunday School, your child will receive sound teaching; Bible stories like Noah & the Ark, David & Goliath, and Daniel & the Lions' Den; and most of all, important truth on how they can have their own personal relationship with their Creator God through Jesus Christ. Children are divided into classrooms by age and these classes range from 2-3 to 12-13 years old. There is something for everyone, and currently, we have over seventy children enrolled in our Sunday School program.

For your children's safety, we have implimented our Plan to Protect program. This program ensures that both the Teacher and Assistant be present at all times in each classroom. They are accountable to each other, thus providing a safe atmosphere for your child.
