At Gorrie Bible Fellowship, your children will receive a solid foundation of what the Bible teaches. Remember when you went to Sunday School? Sadly, interest in learning the Bible today (the oldest book recorded in history) has declined, and society evidently has declined with it. Divorce rates, substance abuse and economic pressures have left our communities in havoc, struggling to survive.

 

Have you made the connection? Our unconnectedness with the Bible, The Word of God, has left our world in chaos. As the Creator and Sustainer of life, God offers a better life: One with purpose and happiness. No, not perfect, but evidently the historical teachings of the Bible have eased the pressure that sin has created in our world. The Bible says that when Jesus came to earth and offered Himself as a sacrifice for our sins - to bear our guilt and punishment at the cross - He took our sins and carried them as far as the east is from the west. Amazing Love, How can it be?

 

Your children can learn the answers to these questions by attending our Sunday School each Sunday from 10:45-11:45AM. During the Sunday School program, parents are invited to sit in and listen to the teaching, or they can join the rest of the adults upstairs for Family Bible Hour. In Sunday School, your child will receive sound teaching, old stories like Noah & the Ark, David & Goliath, and Daniel & the Lions' Den, and most of all, important truth on how they can have their own personal relationship with their Creator God through Jesus Christ. Children are divided into classrooms by age and these classes range from 2-3 to 12-13 years old. There is something for everyone, and currently, we have seventy-four children enrolled in our program.

 

For your children's safety, we have implimented our Plan to Protect program. This program ensures that the Teacher and Assistant (of different families) be present at all times in each classroom. They are accountable to each other, thus providing a safe atmosphere for your child.
